How do I change my vehicle?

If you have more than one SYNC-equipped vehicle and you have registered and saved the vehicle information in your SYNC account, you may view information for those other vehicles by clicking Change.

What is my SYNC Version?
SYNC Version
SYNC is updateable and customizable. That means that as new technologies are created, SYNC can be updated to remain current. For example, new versions of SYNC will become available to accommodate new mobile phones and media players.

Your current version of SYNC is listed below your vehicle information. If there are other versions available, they will be listed in the Available Downloads section.

What does Update available mean?
Update Available
Because SYNC is updateable, there may be another compatible version. If there is a SYNC update available, it will be listed under Update Available.

What does Your SYNC is up-to-date mean?
Your SYNC is up-to-date
If there are no other versions available for download, you will receive the message that Your SYNC is up-to-date.

What are Confirmed Installations?
Confirmed Installations
When you report successful installations by plugging your USB drive back into your computer after successfully downloading the files to SYNC, the status of that download will change to Confirmed Installations.

Until you report successful installations, the status of the download will be listed as Downloaded for Install.

What does Available for Download mean?
Available for Download
The number of applications and updates you have chosen for downloading onto your USB drive will be listed after Available for Download. To download those files, click the Download Now link.

What does Download Now mean?
Download Now
If you have chosen applications and updates for downloading onto your USB drive they will be listed after Available for Download. To download those files, click the Download Now link. The screen will change to the area of the website where you can download the files to your USB storage drive.
