SYNC Updates
SYNC is updateable, so there may be another compatible version listed under SYNC Updates.

SYNC is customizable, so applications offering new features will be made available.

If there is nothing for download at this time, your version of SYNC is up-to-date.

Update your SYNC version
Because SYNC is updateable and designed to be compatible with future technologies, it is necessary to update your version of SYNC to stay current. Your current version of SYNC is listed below your vehicle information.

Add to Selected Downloads
To download an update or application, click Add to Selected Downloads and the files will be added to this section of the website.

Go to Selected Downloads
Go to Selected Downloads takes you to the area of the site where you can download your selected files or remove them from Selected Downloads.

Install
Once you have downloaded your files to your USB storage drive, you must upload them to SYNC. After SYNC has copied the files to its system, the files will be installed on SYNC.

Uninstall
If for any reason you wish to uninstall an application or update, choose uninstall, download the file to your USB storage drive and upload the uninstall file on your SYNC system.

Reinstall
If for any reason you wish to reinstall an application or update, choose reinstall, download the file to your USB storage drive and install on SYNC. No need to uninstall the existing application before reinstalling it.

Customize
You may tailor some applications to your preferences. Be sure to save your changes or click Add to Selected Downloads so that you may install them on your SYNC unit.

Restore
If you have customized an application you may restore the original. Click Restore to download the original file onto your USB storage drive to install on your SYNC unit.

SYNC Upgrade
A SYNC Upgrade requires a visit to your local dealership, which will upgrade your SYNC system for you. A dealership service fee may apply.

Print Request for SYNC Upgrade form
Clicking on the Print Request for SYNC Upgrade form link sends a signal to your printer to print the SYNC Upgrade form. You’ll need to take the printed form to your dealership for your upgrade appointment.

Alternate version of this upgrade
Until you are able to take your vehicle to an authorized dealership for your SYNC upgrade, an alternative version is available, but you won’t be able to enjoy the most up-to-date features and applications until SYNC has been upgraded.

Find an Authorized Dealership
By clicking on Find an Authorized Dealership, you’ll go to a page where you can choose your country and language and find the nearest dealership that is authorized to make SYNC upgrades.

Remove
Remove deletes the file you selected.
