Is a SYNC upgrade to include 911 Assist and Vehicle Health Report available now?
Yes. Owners of all SYNC-equipped vehicles (except Mustang) may upgrade their SYNC to include 911 Assist
® and Vehicle Health Report. The upgrade is a software installation performed by dealers, and eligible customers are responsible for dealer installation charges, which may vary.
To get the upgrade you will need to:
- Create or log in to your SYNC Owner account now.
- Go to the Update & Customize page.
- Select Dealer-Installed Updates.
- Print the Request for SYNC Upgrade Form and bring it to your dealer.
- Make an appointment with your preferred dealership.
Vehicle Health Report is available in the United States only, 911 Assist is available in the United States and Canada only.
